Trace has four major backup power inverter lines. Every unit includes a high efficiency DC to AC inverter for converting stored battery power to regular household current as well as a three stage battery charger for quickly recharging your batteries when the power outage is over. Here is a brief description of each inverter line:

SW and PS Series Inverters

Sinewave Series
The Trace SW series is our flagship product. Featuring sinewave output, separate inputs for utility and generator power, and built-in automatic-start generator control, the SW series is the ultimate backup power inverter and control center. With over 5,000 watts of power available from a single inverter and the ability to stack up to six inverters together, the SW Series gets the job done.

PS Series
Designed to significantly lower the cost of sine wave power in backup power applications. The PS2512 produces 2.5kW power and includes our fully automatic three-stage battery charger. It is ready to connect to utility power, a generator or a renewable power system.
